Remove bandage after 1-2 hours. |

Gently wash tattoo in warm soapy water, pat dry and reapply A&D Ointment. |

Apply a thin layer of A&D Ointment 3-5 times daily or as needed for 7-10 days (apply enough to keep the tattoo from being dry to the touch). |

The average tattoo takes up to 2 weeks to heal
and during the healing process it is very important to: 1. Keep it out of the sun (this includes tanning beds). 2. Do not soak in the tub. Shower as normal 3. No swimming, hot tubs, or saunas. 4. Keep restrictive clothing off the tattoo. 5. Keep the tattoo moisturized at all times. |

Do not let the tattoo dry or scab, as this can result in loosing ink and having spots lighten in the color. |

Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo. If it itches, smack it. |

Do not use Neosporin, Vaseline, alcohol or triple antibiotic ointment. A&D, Tattoo Goo, H2Ocean, and Ink Fix are the best for healing a new tattoo. |

It is normal for a tattoo to ooze ink for the first 2-3 days and peel like a sunburn. |
|
|
After tattoo has healed, use a lotion on the tattoo daily, that has no dyes or perfurmes. When out in the sun, use sunscreen. |
